PART-TIME OPERATIONS & MARKETING ASSISTANT

Location: Colombo (Hybrid – 70% Remote, 30% In-Person)

Hours: 15 Hours Per Week

I am a creative entrepreneur seeking an organized, proactive, and reliable assistant to support the day-to-day operations of my growing music business.

This hybrid role combines business administration, marketing support, research, event coordination, and general operational assistance. Most work can be completed remotely, with occasional in-person support required for meetings, performances, events, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities -

Business Administration

• Managing calendars, schedules, and appointments

• Organizing business documents and records

• Assisting with client and partner follow-ups

Social Media & Marketing Support

• Scheduling and coordinating social media content

• Assisting with marketing activities for events and projects

• Coordinating with creative collaborators when required

Research & Business Development

• Researching opportunities, venues, and potential partnerships

• Compiling information and recommendations into simple reports

General Administration

• Maintaining organized digital files and systems

• Supporting day-to-day administrative and operational tasks

Events & Performance Support

• Assisting with event planning and coordination

• Providing occasional support during performances and events

Requirements

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Basic proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

• Reliable internet access and personal laptop

• Ability to travel within Colombo when required

• Interest in music, events, marketing, or the creative industry is an advantage
