We are looking for a dedicated Packing Assistant to join our team in a frozen food company specializing in baked goods. The selected candidate will be responsible for packing products such as breads, buns, pastries, and other baked items while ensuring quality, hygiene, and efficiency.
Location - Rajagiriya, Colombo
Key Responsibilities:
Pack baked goods according to company standards and packaging guidelines
Check product quality before packing
Label, seal, and organize packed products properly
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the packing area
Assist with storing packed products in freezers or cold storage
Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures
Support the production team when needed
Support the Delivery team when needed
Requirements:
Ability to work in a cold storage / frozen food environment
Good attention to detail and cleanliness
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
Responsible and able to work as part of a team
Previous experience in food packing or bakery work is an advantage but not required
