Lions super Mart (Pvt) Ltd , now seeking Operations Manager for our Supermarket. candidates should have the following experience.
****Responsibilities****
•Oversee and coordinate day-to-day retail operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
•Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and customer service
•Collaborate with department heads to optimize inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies
•Manage and lead a diverse team of retail staff, providing guidance and support
•Implement training programs to enhance staff skills and product knowledge
•Drive initiatives to improve customer experience, satisfaction, and loyalty
•Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions and events
•Ensure compliance with safety and security standards and handle emergency situations as needed
•Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to support operational needs
****Requirements and Skills****
• Proven experience as a Supermarket Manager or Retail Operations Manager.
• Proven experience as a Retail Operations Manager or in a similar managerial role
• Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain, and logistics
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and inventory systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
****Preferred Qualifications****
• Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software.
• Background in identifying market trends and implementing competitive strategies.
