Job Overview
LankaStaff is recruiting on behalf of our client for an Operations Executive to join a dynamic and fast-growing Financial Services/FinTech organization. This is a high-ownership role suited for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operational activities, coordinating with customers, merchants, and vendors, verifying transactions, resolving operational issues, and ensuring service levels are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and merchants by responding to inquiries and resolving operational issues.
• Manage daily operational workflows while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure timely follow-up on operational matters.
• Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Verify, reconcile, and maintain accurate transaction records while reporting discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct research, maintain operational documentation, and support management with ad-hoc operational assignments.
• Escalate high-priority operational issues to the appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
• Ensure all operational processes are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service while supporting business operations.
Candidate Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Management, or any related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Operations, Customer Service, Administration, or a similar role.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Sheets (formulas, filters, pivot tables).
• Fluency in English, Sinhala, and Hindi.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of stock markets and financial instruments.
• Familiarity with trading platforms or FinTech products.
• Previous experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), or FinTech operations will be an added advantage.
Working Schedule
This position operates on a roster-based shift schedule, and candidates must be willing to work any of the following shifts:
• Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 12:00 Noon – 9:00 PM
• Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Night Shift: 2:00 AM – 11:00 AM
