Merchandiser (Full-Time)
Location: Touch of Gold Head Office – Colombo 03
PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY
To Monitor and maintain the company Inventory at optimum level according to the projected sales for each quarter of the sales calendar.
SUPPORTING TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitoring the availability of stocks at the right locations in relation to sales/ movement in each location.
• Ensuring stocks are balanced throughout the Categories according to the projected sales.
• Raising timely re-orders in consideration of suppliers lead times and sales requirements.
• Arrange liquidation programs for items not meeting projected sales.
• Assigning product codes and Retail prices for items received from suppliers.
• Maintain a Catalog of all products.
• Supporting sales with new and /or compensating product introductions
Requirements:
• Proven experience in merchandising, retail, or inventory management (jewelry industry experience is an added advantage)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
