Are you a technically skilled and experienced Mechanical professional looking for an opportunity in a well-established manufacturing environment?
We are looking for a competent and technically skilled Mechanical Executive to join our Engineering Department, supporting production machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance activities.
โจ What You'll Do:
โ Carry out preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance of production machinery
โ Identify machine faults and perform troubleshooting, dismantling, repair, alignment and re-assembly
โ Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and associated electrical systems of industrial machinery
โ Conduct technical inspections and condition assessments of machinery and equipment
โ Work with pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, valves, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
โ Carry out welding, fabrication, fitting and workshop maintenance activities
โ Read and understand mechanical drawings, equipment manuals and electrical schematics
โ Ensure maintenance activities are carried out according to safety requirements and 5S practices
โ Support smooth and uninterrupted production through effective maintenance activities
๐ฏ What We're Looking For:
๐น Diploma in NDT / equivalent technical qualification
๐น NVQ Level 5 or above in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter or a relevant technical field
๐น Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial experience in machine maintenance and repair
๐น Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to industrial machinery
๐น Practical experience in preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance
๐น Knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, valves, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
๐น Basic knowledge of electrical control circuits, contactors, relays, sensors, overloads and motor controls
๐น Knowledge of welding, fabrication, fitting and workshop maintenance practices
๐น Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical, food or similar industrial environments will be an added advantage
๐น Good problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills
