Single owner primary family vehicle since 1st reg in Srilanka (2003, HI-20xx).
Everything is original, including engine/gearbox. Added a Nakamichi car player with reverse camera and LED fog lamps as upgrades.
This is the Auto/on demand 4x4 model (Auto via viscous fluid coupling/ on-demand via dash button), however the rear driveshaft has been disconnected since i daily drive it 80km per day on the highway.
Most wearable parts/ serviceable parts have been routinely replaced with new parts. (exg - full brake system was overhauled 1 Month ago with new front calipers, pads, and rotors)
Definitely needs a full paint done, with some minor exterior dents (refer pictures). Interior has one broken A/C vent fin.
Offering Free of charge - several boxes of spares and a complete spare engine /gearbox - parts collected over the course of owning this vehicle for 23 years.
Planned on doing the full paint and selling it afterwards for 4.5M , but will let it go if i get 4.1M as-is.
This is one hardy Vehicle, with an interior space that is unmatched in this vehicle category (1000l+ bootspace, expandable to 2000l+ once both seats are folded). It is mechanically the same as the Ford Escape and built on the same platform by Mazda. ex- engine is a 2L Zetec ford engine, gearbox is the CD4E ford gearbox.
If you are looking for an older used SUV, you would be hard pressed to find another Mazda tribute with as genuine a history as this example.
