Morena Boutique Hotel & Rooftop in Midigama Beach is looking to employ a TRAINEE KITCHEN ASSISTANT.
KITCHEN ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assisting the kitchen team with daily food preparation.
Preparing ingredients according to our recipes and standards.
Supporting the chefs during service.
Keeping the kitchen, equipment and workstations clean and organised.
Following food safety and hygiene standards.
Assisting with the general organisation of the kitchen.
KITCHEN ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:
Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not essential.
Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
Responsible, organised and able to work well as part of a team.
Basic English is required.
KITCHEN ASSISTANT CONDITIONS:
Salary: 30,000 LKR + Service Charge.
Once the trainee is able to handle the role independently, they can be promoted to Kitchen Assistant, with a salary between 50,000 and 65,000 LKR.
5 working days per week (40h).
Meals provided.
Accommodation not provided.
Possibility of growth within the company as we continue to expand.
