Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing fruits and vegetables. Assisting with preparing simple dishes, salads, and plating.
Cleaning and Sanitation: Washing, cleaning, and sanitizing kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils.
Dishwashing: Operating dishwashers, scrubbing pots and pans, and ensuring clean dishes are available.
Organization and Stock: Receiving deliveries, organizing storage areas, and maintaining inventory levels.
Waste Management: Removing garbage and recycling, and cleaning garbage areas.
Safety Compliance: Following all food safety and health protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications
Physical Ability: Standing for long periods and lifting heavy items (up to 35-40 lbs).
Skills: Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Teamwork: Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions.
Experience: Prior experience in a food service environment is often preferred but not always necessary
