Ninewells Hospital is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
Ensure patient rooms, clinical areas, and public spaces are maintained to the highest standards.
Conduct routine inspections and ensure quality control.
Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff.
Prepare duty rosters and monitor staff attendance and performance.
Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention, health and safety, and hospital policies.
Respond promptly to housekeeping-related requests and resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements
Previous experience in housekeeping with supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in a healthcare or hospitality environment is an added advantage.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work on a roster basis and in a fast-paced environment.
