A high-end café and fine dining restaurant with a rooftop beer garden and outdoor station kitchen, opening soon in Katunayake, is seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team.
🔹 Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all kitchen operations
• Plan, develop, and execute menus for café, fine dining, and outdoor kitchen
• Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
• Control food costs, inventory, and wastage
• Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times
• Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff
• Coordinate closely with restaurant management and service teams
• Support pre-opening setup and kitchen launch operations
🔹 Requirements
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
• Strong leadership, creativity, and organizational skills
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and kitchen management
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Trainee opportunities are also available for suitable candidates
