Job Summary
The Delivery Rider is responsible for handling deliveries and collections within the Colombo area. This role includes delivering and collecting inventory, documents, and cheques, as well as handling basic bank-related work such as deposits and collections. The employee is expected to represent Celltronics professionally and ensure safe, timely, and accurate handling of all items.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and collect:
Mobile phones, accessories, and other company products
Cheques, documents, and other important items from customers, suppliers, and partners
Ensure all deliveries and collections are done safely, accurately, and on time.
Handle bank-related tasks including:
Depositing cash and cheques
Collecting bank documents
Other small banking and official errands as assigned
Obtain signatures, stamps, or acknowledgements for all deliveries and collections.
Maintain proper records of:
Deliveries and collections
Cheque handovers and bank deposits
Take full responsibility for the safety and security of items, cash, and cheques in his custody.
Maintain the assigned motorcycle in good condition.
Support showroom, office, or stores operations when not on delivery duty.
Follow company rules, procedures, and confidentiality requirements at all times.
Requirements
Basic literacy and ability to read delivery notes and instructions.
Honest, trustworthy, and responsible.
Physically fit to handle daily travel and deliveries.
Valid driving license
Prior experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
