POSITION:

Credit Evaluation & Approval Officer

📍 Location: Head Office – Nawala

**REQUIREMENTS:**

【~】• Successful completion of G.C.E. A/L in the Commerce stream.

【~】• A full or partial professional qualification in credit management (SLICM), AAT, CASL, or CIMA is highly desirable.

【~】• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in credit control, debt recovery, or financial risk assessment.

【~】• Experience working within a manufacturing or large-scale commercial sector is preferred.

【~】• Exceptional proficiency in MS Excel (for data analysis and aging schedules).

【~】• Hands-on experience working within an ERP finance environment.

【~】• Uncompromising integrity, strong negotiation skills, and a highly structured approach to financial discipline.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

【~】• Conduct thorough financial assessments and background checks on prospective dealers, distributors, and corporate clients to determine credit risk.

【~】• Evaluate, recommend, and process credit limits and payment terms in strict compliance with corporate credit policies and approval matrices.

【~】• Continuously monitor outstanding balances, identify high-risk accounts, and prepare comprehensive aging debtor and credit risk reports for the Manager Finance.

【~】• Ensure all credit files are complete, fully documented, and strictly adhere to internal control guidelines and audit standards.

【~】• Coordinate closely with the sales team to resolve billing discrepancies and facilitate timely outstanding recoveries.
