Content Specialist

ikman (Pvt) Ltd is looking for an experienced Content Specialist to help craft engaging content across our digital platforms. If you enjoy storytelling, digital trends, and creating meaningful content that reaches millions of users, you will be one of the ideal candidates we are looking for

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

Write, edit, and update content in English and Sinhala for blogs, product pages, site enhancements, and campaigns.

Use AI-powered content tools to research, draft, improve, and optimise content while maintaining quality, accuracy, and brand tone.

Publish and manage content using CMS platforms (WordPress / internal CMS).

Support Motor/Property Guide contents, including writing, updating, coordinating translations, and publishing.

Manage social media content publishing across platforms (posting, scheduling, coordination).

Track and prepare basic social media performance reports (reach, engagement, post performance).

Work with content planning sheets and basic performance signals to prioritise updates.

Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and quality standards.

Coordinate video content: Manage schedules, timelines, and handovers (not video production).

Work with agencies, freelancers, presenters, and internal teams,

Necessary Skills & Experience

The following are necessary to be successful in this role:

Strong writing and editing skills in both English and Sinhala.

High comfort using Al tools for content creation and improvement (strong advantage).

1-3 years of experience in content writing, digital content, or a similar role.

Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content publishing workflows.

Comfortable working with CMS tools and structured content processes.

Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple content tasks

Will be an advantage if you have:

Experience with social media reporting or analytics.

Basic understanding of SEO and content performance.

Experience working with bilingual or translated content.

Exposure to coordinating with agencies or freelancers.
