We are looking for a motivated Commis Chef 1 to join our growing kitchen team.
Srilancaña is an open-air restaurant in Bentota serving Sri Lankan and international fusion cuisine. We cook with fresh ingredients, bold flavours and passion for food.
This position is ideal for someone who has basic kitchen experience and wants to learn and grow in a professional but friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking
- Follow recipes and kitchen standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Support the team during lunch and dinner service
- Help with stock and ingredient preparation
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year kitchen experience preferred
- Experience in Sri Lankan cuisine or international cuisine is an advantage
- Passion for cooking
- Clean, organised and calm
- Team player
- Willing to learn and improve
- Available for lunch & dinner shifts
