We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Commis I – Pastry Chef to join our growing pastry team at Grand Chancellor Kitchens.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
✔ Hands-on experience in baking buns, breads, rolls, and artisan bakery items
✔ Good knowledge of puff pastries, patties, savouries, and baked snacks
✔ Ability to assist in cake preparation, fillings, icings, and finishing work
✔ Understanding of dough mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking techniques
✔ Knowledge of oven handling, baking temperatures, and production consistency
✔ Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards
✔ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production kitchen
✔ Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in a hotel, bakery, pastry kitchen, or large-scale production kitchen
Good practical bakery skills with attention to quality and presentation
Able to work shifts and support daily pastry / bakery production
