With 701's that is no longer a concern.
They also have a Built-In Power Amplifier for the Bass/Low Frequencies, and have an optional LFE input when used with Home Theater systems. Connections are made to the Speaker Outputs of any Receiver/Amplifier, but only the Low Frequencies are powered by the Internal Amp. Owners manual is included.
