We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Verification Manager to join our Microfinance team. The Verification Manager will be responsible for verifying customer information, assessing loan application authenticity, and supporting the approval process by ensuring accurate and reliable evaluations of applicants.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good communication abilities, and the capability to make informed decisions while maintaining company policies and risk management standards.
Key Responsibilities:
~Verify customer personal, employment, and financial information submitted for loan applications.
~Conduct phone verifications processes when required.
~Review customer documents for authenticity and accuracy.
~Assess customer eligibility and identify potential risks or fraudulent activities.
~Coordinate with the credit and operations teams regarding loan approvals and rejections.
~Maintain proper verification records and reports.
~Ensure all verification procedures comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
~Support the management team in improving verification and risk assessment processes.
~Handle confidential customer information professionally and securely.
Requirements:
-Previous experience in verification, finance, Microfinance, banking, or customer assessment is preferred.
-Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple applications efficiently.
-Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
-Honest, responsible, and professionally disciplined.
Qualifications:
~Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Finance, Banking, or a related field is an advantage.
~Experience in loan processing or customer verification will be an added advantage.
