One of Sri Lanka's leading lifestyle and lingerie brands — with multiple retail outlets and a fast-growing online presence — is looking for a keen-eyed and dependable Assistant QC to join our quality control team.
This role offers a clear path for growth: on successful completion of 6 months, the selected candidate will be promoted to Senior Assistant QC.
Key Responsibilities
Inspecting incoming and outgoing stock for quality, fit, and finish
Checking products against approved samples and quality standards
Identifying and documenting defects, damages, or inconsistencies
Coordinating with suppliers and production teams on quality issues
Maintaining accurate QC records and inspection reports
Supporting stock checks and ensuring only quality-approved items reach outlets and online orders
Assisting in developing and enforcing quality control procedures
What We're Looking For
Basic knowledge of quality control processes (garment/apparel background is a plus)
Sharp attention to detail and a strong eye for spotting defects
Good organizational and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good computer literacy for maintaining QC records
Prior experience in a similar role is an added advantage
