We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and clinically skilled Assistant Nurse to join our specialized Orthopaedic and Wound Care Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clinical specialists and surgeons during procedures involving orthopaedic/spine implants and NPWT systems.

• Provide clinical support, product demonstrations, and patient care guidance in hospital and clinical settings.

• Manage and maintain division inventory, surgical sets, and therapy equipment.

• Liaise with medical professionals, hospital staff, and patients to ensure seamless care and service delivery.

• Support post-operative monitoring and wound dressing management related to NPWT.

• Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Nursing / Healthcare Assistance from a recognized institute.

• Prior experience in Orthopaedics, Operating Theatre (OT), or Advanced Wound Care is highly preferred.

• Basic understanding of surgical instruments and wound management protocols.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage).

• Excellent problem-solving skills, empathy, and a strong work ethic.

• Willingness to travel to hospital networks as required.

ප්‍රධාන වගකීම්

• අස්ථි/කොඳු ඇට පෙළ ආදේශක සහ NPWT පද්ධති සම්බන්ධ ශල්‍යකර්මවලදී විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍යවරුන්ට සහ ශල්‍ය වෛද්‍යවරුන්ට සහාය වීම.

• රෝහල් සහ සායනික පරිසරයන් තුළ වෛද්‍ය ආධාර, නිෂ්පාදන නිරූපණයන් (demonstrations) සහ රෝගී සත්කාරක උපදෙස් ලබා දීම.

• අංශයේ ඉන්වෙන්ටරි (Stock), ශල්‍ය උපකරණ සහ ප්‍රතිකාර උපකරණ නිසි ලෙස නඩත්තු කිරීම සහ කළමනාකරණය.

• විශිෂ්ට සේවාවක් සහ රෝගී සත්කාරයක් තහවුරු කිරීම සඳහා වෛද්‍යවරුන්, රෝහල් කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය සහ රෝගීන් සමඟ සමීපව කටයුතු කිරීම.

• NPWT ප්‍රතිකාරයට අදාළව ශල්‍යකර්මයෙන් පසු තුවාල ඇඳුම් (wound dressing) සහ රෝගීන්ගේ තත්ත්වය නිරීක්ෂණයට සහාය වීම.

• සුදුසුකම් සහ අවශ්‍යතාවල

• පිළිගත් ආයතනයකින් හෙද හෝ සෞඛ්‍ය සහකාර පාඨමාලාවක් (Diploma/Certificate) හදාරා තිබීම.

• අස්ථි රෝග අංශය (Orthopaedics), ශල්‍යාගාර (OT) හෝ තුවාල සත්කාර (Wound Care) පිළිබඳ පූර්ව පළපුරුද්දක් තිබීම වැඩි වාසියකි.

• ශල්‍ය උපකරණ සහ තුවාල කළමනාකරණ ක්‍රමවේද පිළිබඳ මූලික අවබෝධය.

• ඉංග්‍රීසි සහ සිංහල භාෂා හැසිරවීමේ හැකියාව (දෙමළ භාෂාව පිළිබඳ දැනුම අතිරේක සුදුසුකමකි).

• කණ්ඩායමක් ලෙස වැඩ කිරීමේ හැකියාව සහ යහපත් සන්නිවේදන කුසලතා.

• අවශ්‍යතාවය පරිදි රෝහල් ජාලය වෙත ගමන් කිරීමට ඇති හැකියාව.
