Job Summary
IMC Med Hospitals is seeking a highly organised and responsible Administrative Officer to manage daily administrative operations and support hospital management. The candidate will coordinate office procedures, assist with staff administration, maintain records, and ensure smooth communication between departments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily administrative operations of the hospital.
Maintain and organize patient records, staff records, and administrative documents.
Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and hospital activities.
Support HR functions such as staff attendance, leave records, and recruitment coordination.
Prepare reports, letters, and official documents.
Coordinate with medical staff, management, and external partners.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally.
Monitor office supplies and maintain administrative inventory.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration / Management / Healthcare Administration.
Minimum 1–2 years experience in administrative work (hospital experience preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in healthcare or hospital administration.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good command of English and Sinhala (Tamil is an advantage).
