💼 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 : Accounts Executive (Imports)

📍 Company: Euro Motors (Pvt) Ltd – Leading automotive company in Sri Lanka

💠 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 :

Part qualification in AAT, CA, CIMA, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting qualification

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in import-related operations

Sound knowledge of Letters of Credit (LCs) and import procedures

Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

💠 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐄 :

A dynamic and detail-oriented accounting professional with part-qualification in AAT/CA/CIMA/ACCA and at least 2 years of experience, preferably in import operations. Possesses strong knowledge of LCs and import procedures, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.

💠 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 :

Handle import-related accounting and documentation processes

Coordinate with banks for Letter of Credit (LC) opening, amendments, and settlements

Process supplier payments and maintain accurate financial records

Reconcile import-related accounts and prepare reports

Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments on import transactions

Monitor import costs and ensure timely payments

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
