We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to handle our accounting and finance operations for our digital platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records for daily transactions
- Track customer payments, refunds, discounts, and promotional offers
- Calculate partner commissions and prepare payout schedules
- Reconcile payment gateway reports with bank statements
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial summaries
- Assist with cash flow monitoring and expense control
- Support statutory compliance including VAT, SVAT, PAYE, EPF & ETF
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory purposes
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
- Experience with online platforms, marketplace apps, or service businesses is a plus
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan accounting and tax regulations
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or other
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
