Key responsibilities
• Managing day-to-day transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing monthly or annual financial statements
• Handling payments to vendors (payable) and ensuring timely collection of money owed to the company (receivable).
• Reconciling bank statements and company records to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Processing employee salaries, deductions, and tax compliance accurately.
• Assisting management with developing financial budgets and analyzing expenses.
• Utilizing accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to maintain accurate data (will be taught in the beginning)

• Tamil speaking is preferable; should be good in English and Sinhala for communication purposes
• Residence within Colombo is expected
Accommodation will be provided if needed
• Working hours;
• Monday to Friday : 8.30 a.m o 6 p.m.
• Saturday : 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
