WE ARE HIRING – ACCOUNTANT

A Leading Restaurant in colombom03 is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Accountant to join our team.

📍 Location: Colombo 03

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage daily financial transactions, bookkeeping, and ledger entries

* Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, invoices, receipts,

and payment documentation

* Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

* Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expense tracking

* Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and company accounts

* Process payroll, staff salaries, and statutory payments accurately

* Prepare tax documents, VAT calculations, and ensure compliance

with financial regulations

* Maintain inventory costing, purchase records, and supplier payment

schedules

* Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial

planning

* Conduct internal audits and ensure proper financial controls

Use accounting software for data entry, reporting, and record

maintenance

* Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities

when required

* Ensure confidentiality of all company financial information

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Previous experience in accounting or finance preferred

* Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Excel, or

similar)

* Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

* Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability

* Understanding of tax regulations and financial reporting standards

Preferred Skills:
