Thissa Furnishers & Distributors Pvt Ltd is a well-established distribution company with operations in Kegalle District. As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are strengthening our Finance Team at our Corporate Office in Kegalle.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Update internal QuickBooks systems with financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and other financial reports for the Board of Directors.

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

• Handle Payroll Management, EPF/ETF submissions, VAT & SSCL submissions.

• Liaise with external auditors for annual and internal audits.

• Coordinate with banks and prepare bank reconciliations.

• Plan, manage, and oversee all functions of the Finance Department.

Requirements

• Part qualification in ACA / CIMA / ACCA, fully completed AAT, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Business Administration.

• Minimum two (02) years of experience in a similar capacity.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Audit firm experience will be an added advantage.

• Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Kegalle City.
