The Fashion Developer - Pattern Maker is responsible for creating precise patterns and prototypes

that bring design concepts to life. The role requires a strong understanding of garment construction,

fabrics, and technical design to ensure products meet creative and quality standards. Collaboration

with designers, production teams, and quality assurance is essential for success.

# 💠 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 :

Education:

【~】✪Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or a related field.

 Experience:

【~】✪3-5 years of experience in pattern making or garment development within the fashion industry.

 Technical Skills:

【~】✪Proficiency in pattern-making software and manual techniques.

【~】✪Strong knowledge of garment construction and fabric properties.

【~】✪Understanding of grading, fitting, and technical specifications.

# 💠 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 :

【~】✪ Pattern Creation

 Develop accurate patterns based on design sketches, tech packs, or specifications.

 Use manual techniques or pattern-making software to create initial patterns.

 Ensure patterns consider proper fit, proportions, and construction techniques.

【~】✪ Sample Development

 Oversee the creation of garment samples, ensuring alignment with the original design vision.

 Collaborate with the sampling team to test patterns for accuracy and quality.

 Make necessary adjustments to patterns after sample evaluations.

【~】✪ Collaboration with Designers and Teams

 Work closely with designers to interpret their vision and provide technical solutions.

 Collaborate with production teams to ensure patterns are feasible for large-scale

manufacturing.

 Provide technical guidance on fabric usage, cutting techniques, and seam placement.

【~】✪ Fit and Quality Adjustments

 Participate in garment fittings to assess fit and design accuracy.

 Modify patterns based on feedback from fittings or production trials.

 Ensure patterns meet the company’s quality standards and customer expectations.

【~】✪ Documentation and Recordkeeping

 Maintain detailed records of pattern revisions and garment specifications.

 Update and organize digital or physical pattern libraries.

【~】✪ Process Improvement

 Stay updated on industry trends, pattern-making techniques, and software tools.

 Suggest and implement improvements in pattern-making workflows to enhance efficiency

and accuracy.
