The Wharfedale Pro "TOURUS Series" is a powerful, versatile power speaker. Available in 12" and 15" models. Both models use a 1.75" HF driver to ensure clear and accurate treble characteristics. The large 2.0" voice coil used in LF drivers ensures efficient playback even at loud volumes. Both models use a Class D amplifier for LF and a newly designed Class AB amplifier for HF. The two amplifiers within the TOURUS are highly efficient and have a fanless construction.
The body is made of durable polypropylene and features a full face steel front grill, the TOURUS speaker is rugged and versatile for DJs, musicians and installations.
Simple operation, high and low frequency 2 EQs, easy connection operation makes it easy to achieve wonderful sound.
The two amplifiers inside a Tourus are extremely efficient. So efficient that they can use convection cooling. This means that there are no fans!
Fans inside loudspeakers can add to operational noise, weight, price and can lead to reliability issues.
