Cashier for Supermarket
Location: Colombo 03
Working Days: 6 days per week
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 10:00 PM (Overtime paid after 8 hours) Free Accommodation Available (boarding)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced supermarket cashiers to join our Clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling transactions at the cash register, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maintaining up-to-date pricing information.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a cash register to scan items, total purchases, and process payments.
Answer customer queries and address any service-related issues.
Ensure accuracy of prices by referring to price sheets and sale bulletins.
Collect payments and provide change for customers paying in cash.
Pack purchases as required.
Offer friendly and courteous service to create a positive shopping experience for customers.
Qualifications:
GCE O/L or A/L.
Basic computer knowledge.
Proficiency in English.
Salary:
Basic: Rs 30,000/-
Overtime pay for hours beyond 8 hours.
Sales incentive.
