Senior Sales Executive (Online Direct Banner Sales)
ikman is currently the largest local website in the country and has already established itself as a famous brand across the island. ikman consists of a team of super performers who work day and night, dedicating themselves to delivering a great service.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive online banner ad sales on ikman.lk.
Identify, approach, and pitch to potential clients, including businesses across various industries.
Build and manage long-term relationships with clients by- understanding their needs and offering tailored advertising solutions.
Prepare and deliver professional and compelling sales presentations to clients.
Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring clients’ advertising goals are met.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ikman.lk’s advertising products, as well as industry trends and competitor offerings.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of advertising campaigns and resolve any client issues.
Consistently track and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Use CRM tools to manage client accounts, document interactions, and monitor progress on deals.
Required Skills:
Strong presentation skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and sell ikman.lk’s advertising solutions to clients.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven experience in selling digital advertising, with a focus on banner ad sales.
Strong sales acumen with a results-driven approach.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Good understanding of online advertising trends, metrics, and performance optimization.
Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and online advertising platforms.
Organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales,
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience in media advertising, insurance, vehicle leasing, or sales within the service industry is a strong advantage.
Qualifications:
A minimum of A-Level qualification is required.
A qualification in sales or marketing will be an added advantage.
Additional certifications in digital marketing or advertising are desirable.
Personal Attributes:
A self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a passion for digital sales.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and trust with clients.
Adaptable, innovative, and open to learning new sales techniques and technologies.
