Sales Assistant
We are looking to hire a hard-working, customer-oriented sales assistant to ensure the smooth running of in-store retail operations.
The sales assistant’s responsibilities include,
Greeting customers who enter the shop.
Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
Answering queries from customers.
Addressing and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner
Being responsible for processing cash and card payments & handling the POS system.
Stocking shelves with merchandise.
Be involved in stock control and management.
Balancing cash registers with receipts.
Keeping the store tidy and clean.
Working within established guidelines.
Receiving and storing the delivery of stock
Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
Requirements:
Male /Female
GCE O/L Pass
School Leavers Can Also Apply
Age between 20 – 35
Excellent English language skills
Fluent in Sinhala
Fluency in Tamil is an added advantage
Basic Computer Literacy
Proven retail sales experience is an advantage
Quick Learner
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Assistants should be physically fit and have an appearance that matches the brand values.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills
