Type of Employment:
Full-Time, Temporary Contract with a Work Visa
90 days in 2022 (July - October), 6 - 12 months in 2023, opportunities for long-term employment for the right person (potentially also to bring a co-worker, family member/husband/wife)
About the Employer:
We are family-run ecotourism which we've started and been running for 10 years. We are open from April to October, with the restaurant open every day apart from Monday, 4 PM – 10 PM, serving traditional local meals. We have a B&B with 3 rooms and 2 bungalow rooms (each is 16 × 2 in size with a small bathroom) and 3 glamping tents (each is 28 × 2 in size + a 4 × 2-bathroom tent). We have a maximum of 18 guests in our accommodation and we serve a buffet breakfast for them each morning from 8 AM – 10 AM.
About the Position:
This position involves taking care of our accommodation guests, working every day 7 AM – 2 PM to prepare, serve and fill up the breakfast buffet table which includes making pancakes and scrambled eggs. It also includes making bread every day and other bakeries on some days. After breakfast, rooms are cleaned and tidied up on the day's guests check out (approx.1 - 5 rooms each day). Apart from cleaning the rooms, common areas also need to be cleaned (the terrace, toilets, showers, pool area, guest fridges), flowers are watered and on days when there is free time before 2 PM, lunch is prepared for other staff.
Days Off and Holidays:
Sometimes there are days off in April, May, and October when it is not peak season. If necessary, a day off can also be arranged when needed.
Extra Work for Additional Payment:
On top of the basic salary for this position, if you want to make extra money, you can work some days in the evenings in our kitchen (approx. 18h - 22h).
Good to Know:
In winter time (October - April) we have work related to maintenance and cleaning and also a large house to maintain, so there is work for the right person for all year employment. Related to this, we may also be interested in employing a couple (husband and wife, with the husband working on jobs related to maintenance, construction, and gardening).
Requirements:
# We are looking for a serious, stable, tidy, friendly, responsible, and hardworking female worker, with previous similar hospitality experience.
# A basic to intermediate level of English knowledge is required.
