This course is intended for System Administrators, Security Managers, and Network Engineers who manage corporate data networks or anyone else who needs to learn about network security & server virtualization. This 45+ hours instructor led course is designed to give you the ability to implement secure network infrastructure using state of the art technologies including Cisco ASA, Checkpoint NGX firewall blades (secure platform) & leading virtualization platform using VMware ESXI5.x hypervisors.
During this course you will configure Cisco ASA security appliance, Checkpoint firewall to secure communication across the internet. Participant will have hands on experience in configuring these topologies in Virtualized environments using industry standard VMware ESXi severs with open source iSCSI NAS storages

VMware Infrastructure (using ESX servers & Workstations)
Install, configure and manage VMware (ESXi5.x& 6.x) and
Manage Vms on VMware ESX
Configure ESX Server networking and storage
Install and configure Virtual Center
Control user access to the VMware infrastructure
Deploy and manage virtual machines using Virtual Center & High Availability.
Networking with vSwitches and port groups

Checkpoint NGX (Secure Platform)
Design and install version R70/R75 in a secure platform environment
Backup and restore an installation
Identify critical files and deploy gateways
Create and configure network, host, and gateway objects
Create a basic Rule Base and configure NAT rules
Monitor IPS and common network traffic
Generate reports, troubleshoot, and ensure network functionality
Monitor suspicious activity, analyze tunnel activity, and monitor remote user
Apply upgrade packages and attach product licenses
Manage users and user access
Configure site-to-site VPNs and VPN tunnel sharing
Configure Check Point Messaging Security

Getting Started with Cisco ASA Firewalls (User Interface, Access Modes)
File Management & Basic Firewall Configuration (Basic Configuration Steps)
Bootstrap the security appliance, prepare the security appliance for configuration
via the Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM), and launch and navigate
Security Levels (Traffic Flow between Security Levels)
Configuring Network Address Translation (NAT) & Port Address Translation (PAT)
Configuring DMZ Networks
Configuring and Using Access Control Lists (ACLs) & VLANs and Subinterfaces
IPSEc VPNs (site-to-site VPN, Remote Access VPN, VPN client)
Configure switching and routing using ASDM
Use ASDM to configure ACLs, filter malicious active codes, and filter URLs that
meet the requirements of the security policy
Using ASDM, configure the security appliance to support a site-to-site VPN that
meets policy requirements
Using ASDM, configure the security appliance to provide secure connectivity using
remote access
Monitor and manage an installed security appliance
