# POSITION : Sous Chef - Sri Lanka
Looking for a leader & charismatic Sous-Chef to open with us the upcoming place to be in Negombo Beach.

# JOB ROLE :
The Sous-Chef will be working closely with the Head Chef and be able to replace it.
He will be a conductor of sorts and the second in command behind the Head Chef.
He will help his chef to maintain a smooth running of the kitchen and manage areas of profit, stock, wastage control, hygiene practices and training within the kitchen.
Also a consistent preparation of our concept cuisine of the highest quality, presentation and flavor for the dining rooms, other food facilities, resulting in outstanding guest satisfaction.
His main tasks will be overseeing the kitchen staff and controlling the preparation of all food, allotting serving sizes, ordering food, creating daily specials, managing and training the Brigade.
# REQUIREMENTS :
Be well-organized, multi-task, independent, dynamic and creative
Have good communication skills
Lead and motivate people, charismatic
Be interested in healthy food/cookery, curious about new trends
Fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness and personal hygiene
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Able to handle a 70-covers service, stress and pressure.
